Wei
Wei- is a quiet three and half year old boy. Wei has received surgery to repair a cleft lip and cleft palate. Wei enjoys reading picture books and listening to music. Wei lives with his foster parents, foster grandma and a foster sister.
Lan
Lan- is a three year old little girl. She has received surgery to repair a cleft lip and palate. Lan is a shy child. She enjoys listening to music and reading picture books. Lan has been living with her foster family since she was ten days old. She also started to attend daycare during the day after she had her cleft palate surgery in March of 2009.
Yang
Yang- is an active four year old little girl. She has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Yang is able to walk with help, if someone holds her hand. Yang is very smart and enjoys reading picture books. She can say simple sentences. She loves her foster mother. Yang is an energetic child who gets along well with others.

Qiu
Qiu- is an energetic two and a half year old girl. She has received surgery to repair a facial cleft at the left corner of her mouth. Qui is close to her foster parents, foster grandma and foster brother. She enjoys listening to music, singing and playing with toys.
Xin
Xin- is an energetic four year old boy. Xin has been diagnosed with Down’s syndrome. Xin is an active child. He gets along well with others and enjoys listening to music. Xin has been living with his foster family since he was four months old.

Ya
Ya- is a sweet two year old little girl. She has received surgeries for a congenital heart defect and for cleft palate. She is doing well under the care of her foster parents. Ya is described as having a ready smile and getting along well with others. She enjoys playing games and listening to music.
Liang
Liang- is an active three year old boy. Liang was born with a sixth finger on his right hand. He appears to be delayed with his speech development. Liang is described as an energetic child who is outgoing and enjoys playing with his toys and playing outside. He is close to his foster mother.

Jing
Jing- is a 21 month old girl. Jing has been diagnosed with intermittent exotropia of the left eye. She appears to have poor vision in her left eye. Jing lives with a foster family and loves her foster parents. She is described as a shy child. She enjoys listening to music.

Guang
Guang- is an 18 month old child who has been diagnosed with “perineal malformation”. Guang has received surgery to repair cleft lip and palate. Guang currently lives in foster care. Guang is described as a quiet child who has a ready smile and gets along well with others.
